Announcement based on the Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Plan System

The Yokohama City Hall(*1) has prepared a three-year plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (global warming countermeasures plan) based on theconservation Ordinance on Living Environment in Yokohama City.

◆Plan period: Fiscal 2022-2024
◆Greenhouse gas emissions targets: We are aiming to reduce total greenhouse gas emissions in fiscal 2024 by 4.7% at business sites and 1.0% for automobiles compared to FY2021.

※1: The Yokohama City Global Warming Countermeasures Plan covers only the mayors of Yokohama City Hall. The Water Works Bureau, Transportation Bureau, Hospital Management Bureau, and Board of Education Secretariat are individually formulated as independent business operators.
※2: Standard emissions and target emissions were revised in accordance with revisions to the amount of electricity used in fiscal 2012 at the time of tabulation of the implementation status in FY2013.
