Yokohama Green Up Action (Citizen Promotion Council Public Relations Magazine)

It is a public relations magazine where citizen committee of citizen promotion meeting reports the spot of green up from citizen's point of view and tells green charm that we think "let's go" and "let's find" to the spot.
In fiscal 2019, we renewed "Midori Up Q" to "Yokohama Green Up Action" in fiscal 2019, based on the idea of "a space that readers will want to take green actions (actions and activities).

Citizen information center, ward offices, public hall, station PR boxes at stations, etc.

We look forward to your comments on reading the public relations magazine and requests for special themes that you want to take up. I will use it as a reference for future publications.

From green up to Action
What kind of green initiatives have you been working on in Yokohama? And what is the green future of Yokohama? We will introduce the past and future prospects of the Green Up Plan together with the "Action Menu" recommended for those who want to start green activities in the future.

Know, learn, and experience the forest
"What kind of place is the forest of Yokohama?" "What do you do with forest creation?" In response to such voices, we will introduce the "Introduction to Forest Creation Volunteer" with the voices of the participants.

Fostering leaders who protect "agriculture" and "green" in Yokohama
If you are interested in helping farming and volunteer activities such as parks and green spaces, this is a must-see. We introduce "citizen's agriculture university course" to bring up "green" helper who can play an active part in the area.

Flower clock passed down from time to time
There is a flower clock in Canal Park in the Minato Mirai district. How are colorful flowers grown? Introducing the history and local activities that have continued since "Kaikoku Expo Y150".

Playing isn't just a park! Would you like to start making vegetables?
"Okatsumachi Fureai Park" is one of the parks with farms. Introducing local exchanges through vegetable production that can be enjoyed by adults and children. Why don't you look for a park with a farm near you?

Have you ever heard of "Shimin-no-Mori"?
I don't think I've heard somewhere. In this issue, we will introduce Shimin-no-Mori in a simple and compact manner. Why don't you go to find a way to enjoy the forest with Action4 in one hand?

"Horticultural Volunteer Mirai" who have been active at "Shinyoshida Community Care Plaza" for 18 years. Why don't you visit a wonderful garden full of smiles, enjoying the making of adult friends through flower care?

Feel the "Agriculture" of Yokohama on the "Aguri Tour"!
Visit the ranch for potato digging experience and shopping at a direct sales shop! There are plenty of events where you can taste agriculture, and there are many participants with parents and children. And students from Ferris Jogakuin University participated in the operation of this project. It's reliable.
　

From the mountain of garbage, to a treasure mountain?
"Kamoi Hara Shimin-no-Mori" has successfully regenerated the forest from which illegally dumped garbage was piled up to a forest full of smiles. Deliver its charm tightly!
