About procedure about the use of Negishi Forest Park marathons

Permission is required for marathon competitions and practice on the paved garden road of Negishi Forest Park.

• Acts requiring permission
  • Events such as marathons and relay races
  • Practice sessions in which 10 or more participants decide on a course in advance and measure time measurement and ranking
  • Practice sessions to recruit participants and set up receptions
  ※There is no need to apply for marathon practice by individuals or less than 10 participants.

• Permission criteria
  1. Number of Groups
     1 group per day.
  2. Effective date
     As a general rule, it will be on weekdays. (Holidays are also allowed in summer and winter when there are few visitors.)
     (Summer: July, August and September; winter: December, January and February)
  3. Implementation time
     As a general rule, it shall be within 2 hours from 9:00 to 17:00.
     (The usage time of the garden road. Excluding the time of preparation and clearing. )
  4. Compliance with
     • Please be sure to carry a permit with you when implementing it.
     • Please strictly adhere to the conditions described in the permit.
     • Please do not interfere with other park users and work in the park.
     • Place teachers, instructors, and operators on the garden road (especially at intersections) to guide and organize runners.
     • Start near the intersection of the garden road and do not set the goal position.
     • Do not install equipment on the garden road.
     • When there is instruction of the staff engaged in park management, please follow.

  1. Reception period
     From 3 months to 1 week before the implementation date.
     (Schools in Yokohama City will be accepted 4 months before the implementation date.)
  2. Usage fees
     • Games such as marathons
       3,900 yen per case per day
     • Practice session
       1,300 yen per hour
  3. Application documents
     • Act permission application in park
     • Plan of Negishi Forest Park
       (Describe the position of the start and goal, carry-in equipment, etc.)
       Example: Implementation guidelines, programs, time schedules, document distributed to participants, etc.
  4. Procedure Flow
     1. Confirmation of permission criteria
        Make sure that the planned content meets the permission criteria.
     2. Confirmation of availability on the day of implementation by telephone and advance offer
        • Please check if it can be implemented on the desired date by phone.
        • Confirmation will be made to Southern Parks and Greenery Project Coordination Office Central Park (Tel: 045-671-3648).
        • If the desired date is vacant, please explain the contents etc. verbally.
        • At the time of prior application, we will check the specific contents such as time and number of participants.
        • If the confirmed content meets the permission criteria, it will be accepted as a temporary reservation.
        • If the specific content is not determined, provisional reservations cannot be made.
        ※If there is no temporary reservation, we will not accept application documents even if you submit application documents.
