1.Name of Life Transportation Improvement Project Plan
 Route bus maintenance business in consideration of the elderly and disabled

2.Purpose and necessity of barrier-free facilities maintenance projects
 The use of public transportation by promoting the introduction of non-step buses that are convenient for all users, including wheelchair users, people with difficulty walking, disabled people, the elderly, pregnant women, stroller users, etc. The purpose is to improve the environment and increase opportunities for all citizens to participate in society.

3.Quantitative targets and effects of barrier-free facilities maintenance projects
(1) Business objectives
 In April 2021, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism announced a new maintenance target in the "Notification Revision of Part of the Basic Policy on Promoting Smooth Movement" announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in April 2021, Yokohama City aims to realize "Non-step bus introduction rate of 80% or more in the city" by the end of 2025. In order to achieve the goals, it is necessary to encourage bus operators in the city to actively introduce non-step buses when updating bus vehicles.

(2) Effects of business
 By introducing non-step buses as vehicles that are easy for everyone to use, such as wheelchair users, people with difficulty walking, disabled people, the elderly, pregnant women, stroller users, etc. The burden is reduced, and the movement of citizens can be facilitated.
 In addition, improving the usage environment of public transportation, the number of bus users will increase, contributing to the reduction of environmental impact.
