JR Ishikawacho Station South Exit barrier-free maintenance project

Business Overview

The north exit of Ishikawacho Station (Chukagai Exit) was barrier-free in 2006, but the south exit (Motomachi Exit) has no elevator, and there are stairs between the ticket gate floor and the front road. did not.
At Ishikawacho Station, the north and south exits are separated by Naka-Murakawa, so as a second route barrier-free project, the government and Motoichi issued a subsidy to JR East and commercialized it.
Construction started in 2016, the southern line (for Ofuna direction) home elevator was started on March 12, 2018, and on March 12, 2018, the northbound (for Yokohama) home elevator was started on March 1, 2019. Construction is completed.
