Minato Mirai Line (business entity: Yokohama High Speed Co., Ltd. (outside site)) is a 4.1 km railway from Yokohama Station to Motomachi-Chukagai Station. The direct operation with Toukyu Toyoko Line has greatly contributed to improved access from Shibuya to Minato Mirai.
In March 2013, via the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line, the Seibu Yurakucho Line, Ikebukuro Line, and Tobu Tojo Line are directly connected. For a wide range of people in the Tokyo metropolitan area, central Yokohama will become more familiar, and it is expected that the number of visitors such as shopping and leisure travelers is expected to increase. It will be an important route that will contribute to the revitalization of Yokohama City in the future.
