Minato Mirai Line (Business entity: Yokohama Minatomirai Railway Co., Ltd. (outside site)) is a 4.1 km railway from Yokohama Station to Motomachi-Chukagai Station. Mutual direct operation with Toukyu Toyoko Line has contributed greatly to improving access from Shibuya to Minato Mirai.
In March 2013, via the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line, the Seibu Yurakucho Line, Ikebukuro Line, and Tobu Tojo Line are directly connected. The city center of Yokohama will become more accessible to people in a wide area of the Tokyo metropolitan area, and it is expected that the number of visitors such as shopping and leisure travelers will increase. It will be an important route that will contribute to the revitalization of Yokohama City in the future.
