Initiatives utilizing local transport resources (demonstration experiments)

Yokohama City is considering various types of transportation services suitable for the region, with the aim of realizing sustainable local transportation. In order to increase the options for transportation in areas where demand is small and it is difficult for transportation companies to operate, we will work to introduce mobile services that utilize local transportation resources.

Since January 2024, Yokohama City and the “Special Nursing Home for the Elderly” have been working in Higashimatanocho and Totsuka-ku to increase the option of moving in areas where demand is small and it is difficult for transportation operators to operate. We have been conducting demonstration experiments on mobile services by contributing to the local community.
This time, based on the results of the demonstration experiment, it will be operated continuously, so the name was changed from "Nagomi-go" to "Higamata-go" on July 1, 2024. Start full-scale operation.

　Number of Operations: 2 flights in the morning (around 9-11: 00), 2 in the afternoon (around 14-16: 00)
　Usage fees　：Free of charge
　Operating Vehicles: Sedan-type car (capacity: 4 passengers)
