Procedures for occupation of rivers and waterways

Rivers and waterways (general sewers) are, in principle, "free use", and anyone can take a walk freely. However, if a specific person continues to use it exclusively for a certain purpose, a private use permission from the administrator is required.

Person who private use river and waterway (general sewer) needs presentation of private use permission application.
In addition, it is necessary to submit an application form for change, abolition, transfer of rights, reduction of private use charges.

When you receive private use permission, you will be issued a private use permit and a delivery notice, so you will have to pay the private use fee stipulated in the regulations at the financial institution by the delivery notice.
Private use fees vary depending on the type, quantity, area, etc. of the property to be occupied.
