The sewerage fee is borne by everyone who uses the public sewerage as an expense to clean sewage.
Normally, the amount of water used by meter reading of the water meter is calculated as the amount of sewage discharged, and the sewerage usage fee is calculated.
In addition, when draining well water, rainwater use water, building spring water, and rainwater / spring water associated with civil engineering / construction work to the public sewer, it is necessary to pay the sewerage usage fee.

It is the fee for use pertaining to sewage of home and establishment using public sewer.

Based on the provisions of Article 4 of the Price Control Ordinance, this is the usage fee for sewage from public baths subject to the control amount of bathing fees.

It is applied to establishments that discharge a certain concentration of wastewater, and is a water quality usage fee to be paid in addition to the general sewage sewerage usage fee.
In addition, the fee for use is calculated based on the sewage concentration (F).

Business sites with emissions exceeding 500m3 per month

Normally, the sewerage usage fee is calculated using the amount of water used as the amount of sewage discharged, but if the amount of water used and the amount of sewage discharged are significantly different due to business activities of factories and offices, etc. You may be able to reduce the amount of sewage discharge.

There are certain conditions to reduce the amount of wastewater discharged. For detailed contents and requirements, please check the "Information on Reduction Certification System" and consult with the General Affairs Department Accounting Section of the Sewerage River Bureau before reporting.
In the case of a declaration without prior consultation, we may not be able to accept it.

When discharging well water (including groundwater such as hot spring water), rainwater reused in toilets, and spring water (building spring water) from underground structures to public sewers, it is necessary to apply for the “Public Sewer Use registration form” and pay the sewerage usage fee. When we use public sewer temporarily to perform the following drainage, it is necessary to submit "public sewer temporary use permission application" beforehand to each ward Public Works Office having jurisdiction over place to use sewer and receive permission . When reporting the amount of wastewater, please use the following form and send it to the General Affairs Department Accounting Section of the Sewerage River Bureau by e-mail or fax by the specified date every month. If tap water is used and the used water does not flow into the public sewer (sewage pipe, confluence pipe), it may not be subject to collection of sewerage usage fees. For more information, please contact General Affairs Department Accounting Division, Sewerage River Bureau.

In the public sewerage system in Yokohama City, rainwater from rainfall and sewage discharged from homes etc. flow into separate drain pipes (rainwater pipes, sewage pipes), and only sewage is treated at the water reclamation center. There is a "junction sewer" in which rainwater and sewage flow into one drainage pipe (junction pipe) and all are treated at the water reclamation center.
If the used water flows into the sewage pipe or confluence pipe even a little, a sewerage fee will be charged.

However, when a tap is newly established and connected to a public sewer (sewage pipe, confluence pipe), it is assumed that there was a notification of "Public sewer use start registration form" according to the provisions of Article 17, Paragraph 2 of the Yokohama City Sewerage Ordinance. You do not need to submit it.

This report is different from the notification of the start of use of public sewerage based on Article 11-2 of the Sewerage Law, which is necessary when removing sewage of a certain amount of water and water quality or when setting up specific facilities. Anyone who has escaped the collection of sewerage usage fees due to fraud or other misconduct will be punished with a fine of less than five times the amount exempted from collection.
