Return to the introduction of water reclamation centers
Nanatsuishi Mountain Yokoana Burial Mounds…It was discovered in 1967, and as a result of an excavation survey, more than 100 horizontal cave tumuli were found on the hillside of Mt. Nanatsuishi (2018 Kosugegaya), and human bones, pottery, and burial items were also found. It is presumed to belong to the royal family from the middle of the 6th century to the beginning of the 8th century, and it is called the "Kajigaya-style" with an unusual structure with a side room at the back of the entrance room, and is a common feature of the Yokoana Tumulus in the Itagawa basin. Several pieces have been left along with the construction of the Negishi Line, making it a local historic site.

The Sakae Daiichi Water Reclamation Center is the 11th diverted water reclamation center in Yokohama, which covers most of the Sakae Ward and part of Totsuka Ward and Konan Ward. Reclaimed water is released into the Itachi River and has contributed greatly to the creation of conservation. A computer system has been introduced for the operation of equipment to save labor and improve efficiency in maintenance.
In addition, from April 1, 2009, weekday nights and weekends and holidays have been monitored remotely from the Sakae Daini Water Reclamation Center.

Advanced processing
In April 2004, the Center converted one of the three trains into an advanced treatment facility, performed advanced treatment (AO law) for the purpose of removing phosphorus, and released it to the Itta River. I am.
Upper use of facilities
Since this center is adjacent to residential areas and stations, it is designed to prevent noise and odor from going out by installing a treatment facility underground. The upper part has citizen use facilities (parks, plazas) that have been greened in consideration of harmony with the surrounding environment.
Effective use of limited land
A large land is required to treat sewage, but limited land is used effectively, such as installing a management building, electricity and machine room on the treatment facility, and increasing the depth of the sedimentation site and reaction tank at first. I use it.
When you come from Hongodai Station on the JR Negishi Line
Turn right immediately after exiting the ticket gate of Hongodai Station on the JR Negishi Line and passing through the guard, you will find the main gate of our center on the left. A 4-minute walk from the station.
