Report of the Meeting
Since 2006, Hokubu No.1 Wastewater Treatment Plant has been conducting tours of six pumping stations in order to make local residents aware of the role of pumping stations. This year, we held a facility tour of the Tarumachi pumping station on Saturday, February 17th. The day was blessed with good weather and there were 18 participants.
On the day of the tour
An overview of the Tarumachi Pumping Station was explained.
I explained the operation in the control room.
I explained the rainwater pump.
I explained my own power generator.
