Hokubu No.1 Wastewater Treatment Plant introduction
Return to the introduction of water reclamation centers
Hokubu No.1 Wastewater Treatment Plant is a combined sewage treatment facility that covers the northwestern part of Tsurumi Ward and part of Kohoku Ward. Sewage is cleaned by the activated sludge method and discharged to the Tsurumi River. In addition, along the Tsurumi River, a first-class river, we manage three sewage relay and rainwater drainage pumping stations, five rainwater drainage pumping stations, and three underground pumping facilities, and quickly drain rainwater into the Tsurumi River. We are working to prevent flooding in the town. In addition, rainwater reservoirs are operating as an initial pollution countermeasure during rainfall.
