Application period

From Wednesday, November 16, 2022 to Monday, December 26, 2022 (must arrive)

Eligible for application

The following people are eligible for application.
■ Individuals and organizations engaged in environmental activities in Yokohama City (or those whose headquarters is located in Yokohama)
■ City companies (corporations, associations, etc.)
■ A group of elementary school studenｔ, students and students who engage in major environmental activities in Yokohama

Selection method

The "Yokohama Environmental Activity Award Judging Committee", which is made up of academic experts, will be selected.

・Judging Committee (Presentation and Q&A) February 16, 2023 (Thu.)
　※The participation of the jury will be adjusted separately.
　※The presentation and Q&A session are scheduled to take about 10 minutes in total.
　※It is subject to change depending on the future situation of the new coronavirus.

Divisions

"Citizens' Department", "Company Department", "elementary school studenｔ, Students and Students"

Type of awards

[Grand Prize] The awards are given to one of the most outstanding environmental activities from each category.
[Practical Award] Those who engage in significant environmental activities
[Biodiversity Special Award] One of the applicants who have contributed particularly to the conservation, regeneration and creation of biodiversity.

Outline of the activities to be selected and the viewpoints of screening

Activities that have an activity period of approximately three years or more as of December 2022 and are expected to continue in the future are eligible. The selection criteria for each division are as follows.

Corporate Dept.	Initiatives that have a track record of more than three years as of December 2022, from the attitude of corporate management itself to social contribution activities, are widely evaluated. ※Outsourcing services from the government are not eligible.	Approach, achievements, effects on environmental conservation, regeneration and creation of Yokohama, characteristics of activities, pioneering, and exemplary
elementary school studenｔ Student Department	Voluntary activities that have a high degree of contribution to local communities within and outside the university in the fields of conservation, regeneration, creation, and environmental learning practices. ※Activities that are conducted only in class. However, in combination with comprehensive learning, etc., they are also active outside class and respect the student's independence are eligible.	Yokohama's contribution to environmental conservation, regeneration and creation, continuity of activities, contribution to the campus and local communities, and the characteristics of activities

Recommendation
　In the case of other recommendations, the recommender should fill out the recommendation form and submit it along with the application form, details and supplementary materials.
　The application form can be filled out by either the recommender or the nominee. If a nominee is filled out, please obtain the confirmation and approval of the nominee and make sure that there is no omission.
　※The difference between self-recommendation and other recommendation does not affect the examination.
　※In the case of other recommendation, the presentation of the jury must be presented to the nominee.
