While Yokohama has a strong image of the city, the natural environment like satoyama remains, and various creatures create a unique ecosystem of the region. In order to let people know about the creatures found in Yokohama, we have created the "Yokohama no Kimono Handbook", which was photographed and composed by the staff of the Institute for Environmental Sciences. It is sold at municipal administration publications and goods sales corner (Yokohama City Hall 3F) and gift shop of Yokohama Zoo ZOORASIA.

We introduced birds found in Yokohama with photographs and lifestyles, and created leaflets on the survey results of bird hunting sites and research institutes in the city.
