While Yokohama City has a strong image of the city, it still has a natural environment like satoyama, and various creatures create a unique ecosystem in the region. In order to let people know about the creatures found in Yokohama, we have created the "Yokohama Ikimono Handbook", which was taken and composed by staff of the Institute for Environmental Science. It is sold at the municipal government publications and goods sales corner (3rd floor of Yokohama City Hall) and at the gift shop at Yokohama Zoo ZOORASIA.
