Improvement of Kikuna Station (JR, Tokyu)
This project involves installing West Exit elevators and escalators for transit passages in order to make the East-West free passages and improve the transit passages between JR and Tokyu Corporation.
Motoichi, JR East, and Tokyu have been working together to promote the business.
In line with this project, JR East also independently worked on barrier-free construction of the JR station building.
Construction started in March 2014, and the East-West Free Passage of Kikuna Station was barrier-free from December 17, 2017, and all construction was completed on March 18, 2019!

Widening of the station square at Yamate Station
In this project, in line with JR East's barrier-free maintenance of Yamate Station, Yokohama City will use the site of the old ticket gate to strengthen the function of the station square, widen the plaza, secure pedestrian space, and bicycle parking. We perform maintenance such as relocation, expansion of parking lot.
JR East has set up elevators and multifunctional toilets to make Yamate Station barrier-free, and started operation on March 24, 2013.
Yokohama-shi started maintenance work of station square in November, 2014 and completed relocation, expansion of bicycle parking lot in March, 2015, widening of open space, securing of pedestrian space in September, 2016 Completed about, and started service.
