About the Review Council
The Yokohama City Barrier-Free Examination Council (hereinafter referred to as the Council) examines the basic concept based on the purpose of the "Law Concerning the Promotion of Smooth Movement of Elderly and Disabled Persons" (commonly known as the Barrier-Free Law). It is an organization that conducts such activities and listens to opinions from a professional point of view. The council is composed of academics, representatives of organizations with disabilities, railway and bus operators, traffic managers, road managers, etc. in order to formulate a high-quality basic concept. .
