Request for Donation of Books

Please donate a book that you have read or no longer needed.
In particular, if you have any of the following books, please donate them to the library.

• Books within approximately five years after publication
• Books with many reservations
• Children's books that are popular with children

For books with many reservations, the top 50 books are posted monthly on the "50 Books with many reservations" page.

The following materials are not allowed to be donated.
Please check it when you donate.

1. Materials with broken, sunburn, dirt, writing, collection stamps and signs.
2. Encyclopedias, picture books, complete literature and art collections already in City Library.

In addition, the donated books may be placed in the "Reuse Bunko". Thank you for your understanding.

Tsuzuki Library has set up a "reuse library" in the windbreak room at the library entrance.
You can provide books that are no longer needed to those who want to read. Please fill in the number of books you brought to the file on the shelf.
The books on the shelf can be taken home freely. No action is required.
Please note that the following materials are not allowed.

1. Significant dirt or damage
2. For the purpose of advertising for profit, promotion of political and religious activities
3. Those that hinder the healthy development of young people
4. In addition, thing which is inappropriate to open up in Motoichi facility
5. Pamphlets and flyers

Yokohama City Library is working to collect local materials related to Yokohama City and Kanagawa Prefecture.
If you have any of the following books or are newly published, please donate them to the library.

• Local materials written about Yokohama City and Kanagawa Prefecture
• School history, company history, Neighborhood Associations history, commemorative magazine

If you donate more than one new book from a company or organization, you can award the donation.
