About the original picture exhibition
Outline of the event
The original drawings of Morinaga Yaw, a picture book writer known for his picture books such as Ranran School Bag, Shinkansen and Depot, and Fire Engines and Hyper Rescue, will be exhibited in Chuo-toshokan.
In addition, on Tuesday, August 6, a talk and workshop will be held by Morinaga Yaw himself.

Mr. Morinaga Yaw
- Born in Tokyo in 1966. Graduated from Waseda University's Faculty of Education (Geographic History) and belongs to the Manga Study Group. Major picture books include "One Day of Fish Market in Tsukiji Market Pictures" (Komine Shoten, 63rd Sankei elementary school studenｔ Publishing Culture Award Grand Prize), "Illustration Picture Book Tokyo Sky Tree" "Illustration Picture Book Construction Site" (Poplar) "Shinkansen and depots" "Fire engine and hyper Rescue" "Jet and Airport / Control Tower" Many such as "Kosokudoro" (Holpu Publishing) and "Ranran School Bag" (Megurumu).
Talk & Workshop "Let's make a Hyper-Rescue Vehicle with Paper Craft!"
After hearing the story from Mr. Morinaga Yaw about the creation of a picture book, we will hold a workshop to make a hyper rescue vehicle.
