State of past exhibitions
We regularly decide themes such as themes that are useful for living in Yokohama and seasonal themes, and display materials held by the library.
We also introduce valuable local materials related to Yokohama.
Please use it as a place to meet new books.
Information on the theme exhibition is also available on Yokohama City Library X (former Twitter).
Information on the exhibition on the first floor novels and living corners, children's books, and teens corners is introduced on the first floor theme exhibition.

Exhibition of valuable materials "Yokohama and Circus"
This section introduces ukiyo-e paintings depicting Japan's first foreign circus group, which was performed in Yokohama in 1864, from valuable materials owned by Chuo-toshokan.

Exhibit "Japanese-style book reading comparison"
"I am a cat", "I am a cat", "I am a cat" These are books with the same title, but I am a cat.
If the language written is different, the impression will change a lot.

Exhibition "Do you know about addiction?"
"Addictions" such as alcoholism and game dependence are increasing in our immediate surroundings and among young people.
I've collected books to learn about such addiction. Posters and posters summarizing the addictions created by the Health Consultation Center in Health and Social Welfare Bureau.
We also introduce consultation desks for individuals and their families suffering from addiction.

Panel exhibition "Yokohama, People, Town, Design Award Winner Exhibition"
The "Yokohama, People, Town, and Design Award" is an activity that has made particularly significant contributions to community development in Yokohama.
We commend the buildings that make up Nami, a town that contributed to the creation of urban landscapes and the conservation.
The aim is to promote attractive town development more widely.
