State of past exhibitions
We regularly decide themes such as themes that are useful for living in Yokohama and seasonal themes, and display materials held by the library.
We also introduce valuable local materials related to Yokohama.
Please use it as a place to meet new books.
Information on the theme exhibition is also available on Yokohama City Library X (former Twitter).
Information on the exhibition on the first floor novels and living corners, children's books, and teens corners is introduced on the first floor theme exhibition.

Exhibition of valuable materials "Ijinkan in Yokohama"
This section introduces ukiyo-e paintings depicting the Ijinkan in Yokohama during the civilization period from valuable materials owned by Chuo-toshokan.

Introducing artists born in Yokohama and artists who are deeply related to Yokohama.

"The Writer's Bookshelf 50th (Natsuki Ikezawa)"
The 50th series exhibition, which collects and introduces book guides and their published books.
This time, "An old book for everyone" edited by writer and poet Natsuki Ikezawa.
This is a book guide that collects books introduced by 50 popular writers in the Mainichi Shimbun column "Bookshelf of the Week".

Medical information corner mini-exhibition "We collected medical magazines!"
Chuo-toshokan holds a large collection of medical journals useful for investigating medical information, such as Ayumi of Medicine and Diagnosis and Treatment.
Medical journals can help you learn about new initiatives.
You can see medical magazines on the 76th shelf on the 4th floor, so please drop in.
