Exhibition Until the Central Library in Yokohama City

Chuo-toshokan under construction

Chuo-toshokan opened in February 1994 and was fully opened in April. Since its opening, Chuo-toshokan has played a central role in Yokohama City Library.
In the exhibition, we look back on the materials and images of the Chuo-toshokan from the planning stage to completion.

Period: From Tuesday, March 19 to Monday, May 6 (Monday, National Holiday)
Exhibition space on the first floor of Chuo-toshokan
Others / 30th anniversary exhibitions are also held on each floor of the building.

Spring Storytelling Party

A special talk session will be held in April when Chuo-toshokan is fully opened.

The first time from 11 am to 11:30 am (0 to 2 years old)
2nd time from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm (3 years old to elementary school students)
3rd time from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm (3 years old to elementary school students)
Contents / Children's Songs and Picture Book Reading
Capacity/first 15 groups on the day of each session
Venue/ Chuo-toshokan 1st floor
Cooperation / (1st) Kanagawa Children's Plaza, Yokohama Library Friend
　　　(2nd and 3rd sessions) Chuo-toshokan Storytelling Volunteers
Others / After the first talk session, we will also provide advice on story-telling to applicants.
