About selection of collection method of personal residence tax when preparing final income tax return for 2024 or later

For those who have received salary from multiple companies and have no other income, or who have only salary and income related to public pension, the e-Tax and NTA final income tax return preparation section for 2024 or later When preparing a final income tax return, it is no longer possible to select the method of collecting personal residence tax on income other than the main salary.
In response to this, in the personal residence tax from 2025 onward, if the above person chooses the method of collecting personal residence tax pertaining to income other than the main salary, it may be necessary to declare personal residence tax.
In addition, as of April 1, 2014, personal residence tax on income related to public pension, etc., for those aged 65 and over, will be deducted from the public pension, so it is not possible to select the method of collection.
