If you are affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, you can receive a reduction or exemption from income tax, and you may be able to refund your income tax by completing the procedures at the tax office. In addition, there are special cases such as withholding and withholding of withholding income tax and refund of automobile weight tax for scrapped cars. For more information, please contact your local tax office or visit the NTA website (outside site).
