We would like to express our sincere gratitude to those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11.
Yokohama City is accepting complaints regarding light motor vehicles and others (motorized bicycles, light motor vehicles, small special vehicles and small two-wheeled vehicles) that were unusable or missing due to the earthquake.
light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) is levied on owners of light motor vehicles, etc. as of the due date (April 1), but if there is an applicable light motor vehicles, etc., please submit a petition for not own a vehicle pertaining to light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei)" to the ward office Tax Division of the ward where the station is located. 。 With respect to light motor vehicles and others who submitted this petition, the taxation of light motor vehicles tax (keijidosha-zei) will be suspended from fiscal 2011.
Please note that this petition will be accepted for the time being.
In addition, please file a junk car declaration (attach if you have a license plate) along with the submission of the petition. We can download motor bikes (motorcycles with displacement of 125cc or less), scrap car report of small special car from Yokohama-shi electronic application service (outside site). The report destination of the scrap car declaration differs depending on the type of vehicle, so please check the scrap car declaration destination.
