At Aoki Elementary School in Kanagawa Ward, the number of elementary school studenｔ is increasing due to the development of condominiums in the school district. Further development is expected in the future, and further shortage of classrooms is expected.
The Board of Education also recognizes that measures for shortage classrooms at Aoki Elementary School are an urgent issue, and with the cooperation of local communities, parents, schools and other related organizations, we will consider countermeasures as soon as possible. I think it is necessary to do it.
Therefore, we decided to proceed with specific studies to optimize the school scale of Aoki Elementary School, and based on consultations from the Board of Education, the Yokohama City School Scale Optimization Review Committee decided to optimize the Aoki Elementary School school scale. A study group was set up.
