Yokohama City Bullying Problem Special Committee

Purpose of installation

The "Yokohama City Bullying Problem Special Committee" is an affiliated organization of the Board of Education that conducts research and research on bullying issues, discusses countermeasures, and investigates when a serious situation of bullying occurs.
Based on the "Bullying Prevention Measures Promotion Act" enforced in September 2013 and the "Yokohama City Bullying Prevention Basic Policy" formulated in December 2013 (revised in October 2017) In order to comprehensively and effectively promote measures, the "Ordinance for the Yokohama City Bullying Problem Liaison Council, etc." (2017), which was enacted on April 1, 2014, was enacted.

About Organization

It is committee composition of "Yokohama-shi bullying problem expert committee" as of October 18, 2024.
It consists of academics who have a deep knowledge of bullying issues (laws, medical care, welfare, psychology, education, etc.).
Number of committee members: 15 members, number of extraordinary members: 14 people
Term of office: 2 years
