Yokohama City School Air Visualization Project
Last Updated January 18, 2023
Yokohama City School Air Visualization Project
At Yokohama City School, we are working to prevent ventilation in classrooms as one of the measures against infectious diseases.
Since January 2023, we have installed CO2 monitors that can measure carbon dioxide concentration in all municipal schools and classes so that effective ventilation can be performed according to the location and scene of each class. Through this initiative, we aim to visualize the air, improve ventilation and awareness of elementary school student students, and create a safe and secure school environment.
In addition, four of the CO2 monitors installed at each school can display data such as carbon dioxide concentration on the WEB. As an opportunity for parents and other stakeholders to know the safe and secure school environment, we announce the carbon dioxide concentration of all municipal schools through the WEB page.
