City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat recruits temporary staff and part-time instructors (or part-time staff) to replace vacancies for faculty and staff at Yokohama Municipal Schools (elementary school, junior high school, compulsory education school, special needs schools and high schools).
 
・As a “temporary appointment staff (full-time)”, she is also in charge of classroom teachers and school affairs division in addition to classes.
・He is in charge of each class as a part-time lecturer (time amount)
・As a part-time support instructor (time amount, team teaching)", she is in charge of classroom support and homeroom teacher

With the abolition of the license renewal system (after July 1, 2022), it is now possible to inform you of your work with your license renewal system (after July 1, 2022).

TeachersHave the desired school type or a normal teacher's license for a school nurse. Those who are expected to acquire it can also register.
Nutrition StaffYou have a nutritionist or a registered dietitian license. Those who are expected to acquire it can also register.
Administrative staffNo special qualifications are required. For work, basic skills such as e-mail and the Internet are required for business purposes.

・Those who do not fall under the disqualifications in Article 16 of the Local Public Service Law and Article 9 of the School Education Law.
・There is no age limit.

About registration procedure

Registration meetings are held at five locations in Yokohama City, so please come to a venue where access and schedules are convenient. (Please check the following items for the schedule etc.)
On the day of the registration meeting, an interview (about 30 minutes) will be held to ask you about any concerns about employment, your desired working conditions, and your work history so far, etc., and the registration will be completed.
※No matter where you register at any venue, job introductions will be available to all Yokohama City schools.
 In addition, since registration information is managed in common to all venues, there is no need to participate in multiple registration venues.

If you would like to register on days other than the posting date, please consult with the Western, Eastern or Northern School Education Office (weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00).
In addition, weekday registration meetings are held throughout the year. If you would like to participate in the registration meeting for the month that is not listed on the schedule, please consult directly with the registration venue.

Status and Service

Appointed as a fiscal year appointment staff based on Article 22-2 of the Local Public Service Law. Service obligations, such as duty to dedicate duties and duty to keep secrets.

Registration period

The registration period is 3 years in principle. If you work at Yokohama City School during that time, the registration period will be extended until the end of the fiscal year to which three years have passed since the appointment was over. You will need to re-register after the end of the fiscal year when you have not been working for three years.
