Those who wish to work at Yokohama City School
City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat is recruiting temporary staff and part-time instructors (part-time staff) to replace vacancies for elementary, middle, compulsory education, special support and high school teachers in Yokohama City. If you are interested, please prepare required documents and register.
About registration procedure
For those who have not renewed their license.
With the abolition of the license renewal system (after July 1, 2022), it is now possible to inform you of your work with your license renewal system (after July 1, 2022). If you are interested, please come to the registration form.
Please refer to the Kanagawa Prefecture website for details on changes and the validity of the license due to the abolition of the renewal system.

About holiday registration meeting, online registration meeting
For those who have difficulty participating in the weekday registration meeting, we will hold holiday registration meetings and online registration meetings using the web conference system. The schedule will be posted at any time.

Recruitment targets and qualifications
Occupational | Remarks |
---|---|
Teachers | Have the desired school type or a normal teacher's license for a school nurse. Those who are expected to acquire it can also register. |
Nutrition Staff | You have a nutritionist or a registered dietitian license. Those who are expected to acquire it can also register. |
Administrative staff | No special qualifications are required. For work, basic skills such as e-mail and the Internet are required for business purposes. |
・Those who do not fall under the disqualifications in Article 16 of the Local Public Service Law and Article 9 of the School Education Law.
・There is no age limit.
About registration procedure
Registration venues are available at five locations in Yokohama City, so please register at your local school education office. (Please check the following items for the schedule etc.)
※No matter where you register at any venue, job introductions will be available to all Yokohama City schools.
Registration information is managed in a unified system at all venues, so there is no need to participate in each office of the desired school.

If you would like to register on days other than the posting date, please consult with the Western, Eastern or Northern School Education Office (weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00).
In addition, weekday registration meetings are held throughout the year. If you would like to participate in the registration meeting for the month that is not listed on the schedule, please consult directly with the registration venue.

Status and Service
Appointed as a fiscal year appointment staff based on Article 22-2 of the Local Public Service Law. Service obligations, such as duty to dedicate duties and duty to keep secrets.
Registration period
The registration period is 3 years in principle. If you work at Yokohama City School during that time, the registration period will be extended until the end of the fiscal year to which three years have passed since the appointment was over. You will need to re-register after the end of the fiscal year when you have not been working for three years.
