The local child care support base is a child care support base that provides a space for preschool children and their parents to play and interact, provide consultation on child care, and provides child care information. . In addition, we hold workshops for those who are involved in child care support in the community. At the same time, the full-time staff of the local child care support base in each ward, "Yokohama Child Care Partner" of the local child care support base in each ward snuggle up to the counselor's feelings, examines necessary information, and introduces appropriate support organizations. .

[About measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infection]
With the review of the position of the new coronavirus infection under the Infectious Diseases Law as Class 5 infectious diseases on May 8, 2023, local child care support bases will be on a daily basis from May 8, 2023. Regarding measures, we will respect independent choices and leave it to the judgment of individuals and businesses.
Please note that depending on the judgment of each facility, the project may be implemented while taking measures to prevent the spread of infection.
Also, please note that depending on the period when the infection is rapidly spreading, infection control measures may be strengthened.

Yokohama City version of Child Care Generation Comprehensive Support Center
In Motoichi, we develop "Yokohama City version of Child Care Generation Comprehensive Support Center" as thing to further enhance support system and function from pregnancy to child care by Health and Welfare Center of ward and local child care support base. By doing so, we aim to be a community development where all pregnant women and child-rearing families can be watched over in the community and raise children with peace of mind.
