In Konan Ward, in March 2008, the Konan Ward Regional Child Care Support Center opened in Hino 2-chome (a 5-minute walk from Konan Chuo Subway Station).

Out of 153 applicants who applied for nickname recruitment, those who are engaged in child care support activities and mothers who are raising children were selected as "Hatchi" at a project meeting of members.
"Hatchi" is derived from the English [fetch] that means "entrance" and "door".
The meaning of the door (hatch) of child care, which aims to be the starting point for new child-rearing support in Konan Ward. In addition, since it also means "chicks frog", the idea is that children will grow up from here and that parents' various thoughts will grow.
