It is a facility that has the following seven functions and serves as a base for child care support in the area.
①Parent and child's place function
②Child care consultation function
③Information collection and provision of child care
④User support function (consultation response, etc. according to individual needs)
⑤Child care support network function (thing about cooperation between people performing support activities related to child care)
⑥Child care support human resource development function (thing about upbringing and support of person performing support activity about child care)
⑦Yokohama Child Care Support System Ward Branch Office Function (Promotion of support to keep children among local residents)

The Konan Ward Regional Child Care Support Center reached its third term (from 2017 to 2021) in fiscal 2021.

The operator shall be a corporation that falls under any of the following:

• Social welfare corporations that run child welfare facilities such as daycare centers in the city
• Medical corporations that run medical facilities in the city
• Non-profit activity (NPO) corporation with a track record of child care support activities in the city
• School corporations that run kindergartens in the city

The qualification of the proposal (application) shall be a corporation that falls under all of the following.

• Being listed in the general competitive bidding participation qualified person list of Yokohama-shi or to be registered before concluding a consignment contract.
• The main purpose is not to be religious or political activities.
