About request such as setting, repair of handrail by "pedestrian support business"

We are promoting the installation of handrails on stairs on public roads through the "pedestrian support project" so that elderly people can safely and safely walk on public roads as evacuation passages in the event of daily life and disasters.

In the first period from fiscal 2016 to fiscal 2018, and in the second period from fiscal 2016 to fiscal 2018, all applications submitted by Neighborhood Association were completed.
In the future, we plan to determine whether it is possible to implement the applications and new requests during the first and second phases after conducting a field survey, and to gradually develop them.
If you wish to install or repair handrails, please download the “Application Form for Stair Handrails” (Form 1), fill out one sheet per request point, and submit it to Public Works Office with the consent of the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and other regions.

The conditions of the location such as the installation of the target handrails are as follows.

（１） New construction of handrails on stairs on public roads, repair and replacement of existing handrails
(If you don't know if the stairs are on public roads, please contact Public Works Office.)

（２） A place where installation is possible, and sufficient walking space can be secured after installation (in the case of new construction)
