The Subsidies for Medical Expenses for Pediatric Treatment system is for children aged 0 to graduate from junior high school.
There are various conditions such as income restrictions and scope of subsidies for those aged 1 and over.

How to apply for a 0-year-old medical expenses grant

Please file with your child's name and file at the ward office National Health Insurance Section. We also accept applications by mail.

I'll give you a Medical Certificate for infant with your child's name.

(If you present your insurance card and Medical Certificate for infant at a medical institution in Kanagawa Prefecture, you will be free of charge for insurance medical treatment. If you are outside the prefecture, it will be refunded at a later date upon application. )

When Address changes

When Address is changed in Yokohama City

・・・ With the Medical Certificate for infant of the previous ward, health insurance card and private seal.

When you move in from outside Yokohama city

When Address changes

When you move in from outside Yokohama city

Public health nurses visit your home and provide health guidance and childcare consultation.
