The Basic Law on Countermeasures against Gambling Addictions stipulates that May 14 to May 20 as the gambling addiction Awareness Week in order to deepen the public's understanding and interest in gambling addiction among the people. During this period, the government and public organizations and other related organizations cooperate to conduct educational projects and public relations activities.

What is gambling addiction?

Addiction refers to a condition in which it interferes with daily life, social life, and health, but cannot stop certain things or actions even if you want to stop. Gambling addiction has features such as being debt and repayable, gambling for repayment, stealing money, or lying to hide.

1 Broadcasting of educational videos on public transportation

Video advertisements will be posted on public transportation and on the premises of the station so that those who are worried about addiction and their families can notice the problem of addiction and lead to consultation.

2 Addiction panel display

To deepen the correct knowledge and understanding of addiction, a panel exhibition on addiction will be held.
In addition, consultations on addiction, self-help groups, family associations, and flyers for support organizations that are active in the community, and flyers for support organizations.
