Passive Smoking Prevention Poster Contest

During summer vacation, a poster contest will be held for elementary school students in Nishi Ward on the theme of preventing passive smoking.
This initiative will be co-hosted with Nishi Ward Office to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system.

From Monday, July 22, Reiwa 6 to Friday, September 6, Reiwa 6　※Must arrive by mail
Reception hours is from 8:45 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays and holidays).

◆Eligibility: Elementary school students (residents, students) in Nishi-ku, Yokohama
　（１）　Lower grades: 1st to 3rd graders
　（２）　Higher grades: 4th to 6th graders

◆Application standard: Eight-cut drawing paper (380 mm wide x 270 mm long) Landscape

◆How to apply: Paste the application form at the bottom of the application flyer on the back of the work, bring or mail it.

　　・You can apply only one item per person.
　　・Submitted entries will not be returned to the applicant.
　　・The copyright of the submitted work belongs to Yokohama City.

◆Participation Award: Those who apply will receive a Komachi Notebook in Nishi Ward and a Komachi nonwoven fabric bag in Nishi Ward as a participation prize!

◆Utilization of submitted works: The entries will be used for public relations and enlightenment conducted at Yokohama City and each ward office, as well as for projects commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system.

[Best Prize] 1 work (award certificate + 5,000 yen of book card)
[Excellence Award]　3 works (certificate + 3,000 yen of book card)
※Awards will be given in the lower grades (1st to 3rd graders) and the higher grades (4th to 6th graders).
※Winners will be notified around mid-October 2024.

A total of 43 entries were submitted from elementary schools in Nishi Ward, of which eight were selected.
