The amount of blood products for transfusions required by medical institutions in Kanagawa Prefecture continues to record highs on a monthly basis.
(In May 2024, it increased by 108% from the previous year.)
At present, it is not possible to respond to demand from medical institutions alone in Kanagawa Prefecture, and by adjusting it in the Kanto and Koshinetsu blocks (consisting of nine prefectures in one prefecture).
We are finally able to supply the necessary amount to medical institutions.

Currently, blood for transfusions is secured by domestic blood donation. For patients, please cooperate in donating blood to ensure safer blood.

The largest blood donation room in Kanagawa Prefecture will open on the 27th floor of the Sky Building at the east exit of Yokohama Station.
From the reception and waiting area, you can overlook Yokohama Port, Yokohama Bay Bridge, K Arena, etc., and the blood collection bed is available.
The largest number of 30 beds in the prefecture will be installed, and smoother blood collection will be performed.
The goal is the largest number of blood donors in the prefecture! We look forward to seeing you.

The Yokohama Station East Exit Crossport Blood Donation Room and the Yokohama-sta.-nishiguchi Blood Donation Room closed on Sunday, March 3, 2024 due to the opening of the Yokohama SKY Blood Donation Room.
