100,000 yen will be paid to the head of the household where the residence tax has been "tax-exempt" or "taxable only per capita rate" in 2024. Benefits to households exempt from inhabitant tax or per capita tax
Households eligible for payment
The following two conditions must be met.
- Households with resident registration in Yokohama City as of the reference date (June 3, 2024)
- Households in which the inhabitant tax of all households was "tax-exempt" or "per capita tax only" in 2024
(Note 1) Even if the above conditions are met, households consisting only of dependent relatives who are subject to residence tax (eg, students who live away from their parents, families living away from those who are alone) are not eligible for payment. "Dependency" here refers to tax law support, not social insurance support. If the situation is different from resident certificate due to circumstances such as divorce talks, please contact us individually.
(Note 2) Households subject to the emergency support benefits (70,000 yen or 100,000 yen) for 2023 (including households that have not declared resident tax in 2023) are eligible for the 2024 benefits regardless of whether they have received it. Not eligible.

Application procedure
When the head of household has completed "registration of public money receipt account" in minor portals, we send "news of payment" which listed transfer account from Motoichi. After confirming the contents, if there is no change in the transfer account, the transfer will be made to the public money receiving account without the application procedure.
If the head of household has not registered as a public money receiving account, a “Confirmation Form” will be sent. Please fill in the account information and return it with required documents.
We send "news of supply" or "confirmation letter" to household targeted for supply sequentially from Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

(Note 1) Even if you meet the target requirements, households with those who have been transferred from outside the city may need to obtain the application form yourself and complete the procedure, so please check your own application method .
(Note 2) Even if you have registered a public money receiving account, you may be sent a "confirmation letter" instead of "payment notice".

Even if the payment conditions are met, the following households will not be sent a "news of payment" or "confirmation letter" from Motoichi because it is difficult to grasp the taxation status of the residence tax and the number of children in 2024 . You will need to obtain the "Application Form" yourself and complete the procedure.
- Households that have moved in from outside the city after the day following the imposition date of the 2023 residence tax (January 1, 2023)
- Households that have revised the resident tax return for fiscal 2024 after the reference date (June 3, 2024)
- Only dependents (tax-exempt, etc.) remained due to the death of dependents (taxable) from the day after the residence tax levy date (January 1, 2024) to the base date (June 3, 2024) Household
- Households with those who have not yet declared resident tax in 2024 (excluding those under 22 years old)
- Households that were subject to residence tax for fiscal 2023 from other than Yokohama City

Households eligible for payment
Households with children under the age of 18 (after birth on April 2, 2006) among households eligible for benefits (100,000 yen) for households exempt from residence tax or per capita rate.
(Note 1) Children born between the day after the reference date (June 3, 2024) to October 31, 2024 are also eligible for addition.
(Note 2) Children who are separated custody (living in student dormitories outside the household and living in a dormitory) may also be eligible. Please contact the call center individually for information on how to apply and attached documents.

Those who have been evacuated due to violence (DV)
Those who are evacuating while leaving resident certificate due to violence (and accompanying persons) are also evacuating to Yokohama City as of June 3, 2024, and all households of evacuees (and accompanying persons) If the residence tax is "tax-exempt" or "taxable only per capita rate" in 2024, it is considered an independent household and will be eligible for payment.
(Caution) Those who have been evacuated outside Yokohama cannot receive this benefit from Yokohama City. You may be able to receive benefits from the municipalities of the evacuation destination, so please contact the evacuation destination municipalities for details.
Refund of benefits
After receiving the benefits, if it is found that the household does not meet the payment requirements or that the household has already received this benefit from Yokohama City or other local governments, we will ask for a return of the benefit. .
In addition, malicious false applications may be charged with criminal liability.
