[Video] Positive Aging ~ Let's imagine 20 years from now~

According to estimates of the future population of Yokohama City, the total population will decrease from about 3.73 million to about 3.52 million from 2018 to 2040.
On the other hand, the percentage of elderly people aged 65 and over has increased from 24% to 33%, and it is expected that the super-aged society is expected to progress further.

The natural decline in the population has increased significantly from 5,716 to 21,623, and it is expected that the super-aged society will progress at an unprecedented rate.

As the super-aging society progresses and the demographic structure changes, the social landscape will change. It is expected that the number of people with dementia will increase, a shortage of medical and nursing care personnel, and social security expenses will increase.

For example, if you imagine your own 20 years from now, you may come up with a concrete image.

We would like to face such an inevitable super-aging society in Yokohama as a whole and create a society where people can live actively and actively regardless of age or need nursing care.
No matter how old I am, I want to spend my time in the community. With these wishes, we are promoting Yokohama-type community-based comprehensive care.
