Why do you want Yokohama to think about the future? I would like to introduce it.

[Video] Positive Aging - Let's imagine 20 years from now~
The future population projection of Yokohama City estimates that the total population will decrease from about 3.73 million to about 3.52 million from 2018 to 2040.
On the other hand, the percentage of elderly people aged 65 and over is expected to increase from 24% to 33%, and the super-aging society is expected to further advance.
The natural decline in the population is expected to increase significantly from 5,716 to 21,623, and it is expected that the super-aging society will progress at an unprecedented rate.
As a super-aging society progresses and the demographic structure changes, the social landscape changes. It is expected that the number of people with dementia will increase, the shortage of human resources for medical and nursing care, and the increase in social security expenses will increase.
For example, if you imagine yourself 20 years from now, you may come up with a concrete image.
We want to face such an inevitable super-aging society as a whole, and create a society where people can live actively and actively, even if they get older or need nursing care.
No matter how old you are, I want to spend my time in the community. With this wish, we are promoting Yokohama-style comprehensive community care.
