Yokohama City is promoting the construction of a “comprehensive community care system” in preparation for a super-aging society, which is expected to progress further in the future. Hama Bono aims to create such a town where people can stay forever, and aims to become a more vibrant community development by supporting local activity groups that are engaged in activities that contribute to the welfare of the elderly in the city with participants from active working adults to seniors. What is a comprehensive community care system?
The community-based comprehensive care system is a system in which housing, medical care, nursing care, prevention, and life support are provided integrally so that you can continue your own life in the area where you live until the end of your life.
In Yokohama City, we are promoting the construction of a Yokohama-style comprehensive community care system based on approximately 140 community care plazas in the city, aiming to become a distinctive community development by promoting the integrated promotion of preventive care and health promotion, social participation, and life support for extending healthy life expectancy.
Use it in community development
Hama Bono, why don't you revitalize local activities online?
In "Hama Bono Online", professional Bono participants, a volunteer of society, will use their work experience to support local activity groups. We aim to strengthen the management base of organizations that are difficult to reach in daily activities, such as creating public relations tools, creating manuals, and conducting needs surveys. Why don't you use "Hama Bono Online" to revitalize the area?
It can be used like this in community development.
・Local activities become more active
Strengthening the management base of activities related to the comprehensive community care system in Yokohama, such as local activity groups, will lead to the expansion and revitalization of local activities. In addition, the possibility of nurturing organizations that serve as a sample of other activities will expand, leading to more attractive community development.
・The number of people involved in the community is increasing.
Through "Hama Bono Online", we can expect that members of all ages who have never touched on local activities will be interested in local activities and will be able to take a step into the community.
