Various events and exhibitions will be held under the main theme of "People with and without disabilities value each other and live like themselves." People with no disabilities are looking forward to your visit! !

■Assistance Dog Demonstration & Talk Session - 20th anniversary of the full enforcement of the Assistance Dog Act■

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the full enforcement of the Assistance Dog Act.
In addition to having users speak together with service dogs (guide dogs, hearing dogs, and service dogs), demonstrations by service dogs will be conducted.

Chihiro Watanabe

Born in 2004
In 2013, he won the first prize in the lower grades of the Helenkeler Memorial Music Competition.
John Lennon's Imagine at the "Gold Concert" held at the 2016 International Forum
     The music activity started when I played and talked.
Participated in the Apollo Theater Amateur Night in New York in 2017.
2018 NHK documentary program "Imazine There is no" Boundary ""
14 years old, one-man live at Shibuya eggman.
Appeared at NHK Music Festival NHK Heartful Classic in 2019.
Appeared at the closing ceremony of the 2021 Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

 You can actually ride for athletics and basketball.

 For athletics, you can do a "Speed Challenge" and challenge the speed record of para players!

 For basketball, "Time Challenge" will be held. Let's run through the dedicated course faster than anyone!

 

◆Introduction of National Sports Festival for Persons with Disabilities, Yokohama City Athletes

 We introduce activity of Yokohama-shi team in national sports meet with a disability held once a year!

A huge 10m x 1.8m mural art created at the KENSUKE TAKAHASHI Art Workshop will be exhibited!
Please take a closer look at the works of Riki Osako, a disabled child and artist.

Art works full of individuality will be exhibited from the works exhibited at the Rapport Art Exhibition.

We will exhibit works that have been submitted for the 2023 "Experience Composition to Expand the Circle of Heart" and "Disabled Week Poster" in 2023.

What is Disabled Week?

One week from December 3 to 9 every year is the “Disabled Persons Week” set by the government.
It is a week stipulated in the Basic Law for Persons with Disabilities with the aim of deepening their interest and understanding of the welfare of persons with disabilities and motivating them to actively participate in activities in society, economy, culture and all other fields. Various events are being held in various places around this period.
