The origin of the town name "Hakuho"

The Yokohama Bayside Marina district began with the construction of reclaiming a part of the old wooden storage surface of Kanazawa Timber Port in March 1995. Then, in July of the same year, a new land of about 14 ha created by landfill was named "Hakuho".
This is named "Hakuho" as a town name suitable for this place that resembles a pure white sail while listening to the opinions of local affiliates.
