3.Earthquake Reconstruction - World War II

1924–1945
Taisho 13 - Showa 20

Reconstruction from the earthquake was proceeding in a hurry, and almost returned to its original form at the beginning of the Showa era. At the same time, new construction was started, and the port was continued, with the construction of Takashima Futo and Yamauchi Wharf were constructed from 1921 (Daisho 10) to 34 (Showa 9).
Around this time, the reclaim of the current factory sites in Ebisu, Takara, and Daikokucho in Tsurumi and Kanagawa progressed, and the Keihin Industrial Zone, the munitions industry (Gunju Sangyo)  As a result, the number of factories continued to increase.

After that, we started construction to further enlarge the port, but soon the Pacific War began and did not proceed as expected, and at the end of the war, air raids were severely damaged by air raids (Kushu) ).
