7 About ventilation
Last Updated February 26, 2019
Ventilate to discharge odors, bacteria, viruses, dust, etc. Efficient ventilation is not possible even if one window is opened. If you open the window or door on the other side, the wind will pass through and provide efficient ventilation.
Open windows and doors for about 5 minutes an hour, even in the cold winter months.
Good ventilation is to create a path where air flows inside the room.
Prevention of mold and ticks
In summer, it becomes hot and humid, mold and ticks are more likely to occur.
During the rainy season and rainy weather, the humidity rises, so ventilation is not possible very much, but be sure to ventilate well on sunny days.
In winter, the air is dry, but mold and ticks may be generated due to the use of humidifiers and the generation of water vapor due to the burning of gas and oil stoves.
Bedding absorbs sweat throughout the year, and "mold" and "mites" are more likely to occur. If possible, it is recommended to dry outdoors on sunny days. If you can't dry outdoors, place bedding on a chair etc. indoors and let the wind pass.
Preventing the intrusion of pests into the room
It is effective to install insect repellent nets at entrances and windows.
