The Izumi Traditional Culture Preservation Society, which consists of three groups: the Yokohama Izumi Kabuki Preservation Society, the Izumi Local Performing Arts Preservation Society, and the Sagami Kite Izumi Preservation Society. We started activities on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Izumi Ward system. We cooperate with each other and continue activities to preserve, pass on and spread local culture transmitted to the region.
It is no exaggeration to say that Izumi Ward is the only place in the city where such a variety of traditional cultures continue to work.
