Yokohama Izumi Kabuki Preservation Society

As part of a project to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the constituency system in 1996, Izumi Kabuki was launched from Taisho to inherit the achievements of "Ichikawa Hana Juro Ichiza," who played an active part in the early Showa era.
The association was established in December 1995 and is operated by more than 50 inhabitants of the ward.
In order to preserve, pass on and spread Izumi Kabuki, we perform in October every year and continue activities such as teaching Kabuki to elementary schools.
In 2017, the name was changed to "Yokohama Izumi Kabuki Preservation Society" and decided to expand its activities more widely.

The 26th Yokohama Izumi Kabuki Performance, which was a previous performance for the first time in four years, was held.

■Ticket fee: 1,500 yen (all unreserved seats)
