Japanese drum performance full of the individuality of the group. A traditional festival music and a creative drum that is created now.
Japanese drum performance full of the group
"Obayashi", in which Okame and Hyottoko dance along with Japanese drums, flutes, and bells, has been strictly handed down and protected. "While there are many musical accompaniment in light tone, some of the Kamiizumi Hayashiren inherits from Kyoto and has a slow tone. All of them sound the same, but the songs and rhythms are different, and when you start doing it, I think that the goodness of the music is deep. At the annual Taiko and Music Festival, unlike the usual musical accompaniment, it also includes fun elements as a show. I'm working strictly and happily with the children, "said Tokuyoshi Anzai, chairman of Kamiizumi Hayashiren.
"Taiko", which has a different charm of Japanese drums and the atmosphere of the song vary depending on the group. "The members gathered to beat the Bon Taiko drum, which excites the Bon Dance, but that alone did not get tired of it, and they began to incorporate creative drums. "The good thing about creative drums is that we can incorporate our ideas," says Yoshio Ito, Chairman of Okazu Taiko.
