Izumi Ward Management Policy for FY2023

Basic goal Let's go to Mirai! With the community ~ Izumi Ward if you live~

Izumi Ward is an attractive city full of water and greenery and thriving local activities. In addition, the opening of the Sotetsu-Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line in March 2023, and the opening of a large-scale attracting facility in Yumegaoka in the summer of 2024, the creation and development of a large-scale customer attraction facility. We encourage local residents to realize that they want to continue living in Izumi Ward and Izumi Ward if they live inIzumi Ward.

Basic Position

We will work on all office work based on the three perspectives of "improvement and creation", "strategic information dissemination", and "collaboration with various actors". We will make people inside and outside the city realize the unique charm of Izumi Ward, promote city development that enhances attachment to Izumi Ward, and promote town development that takes advantage of local characteristics such as agriculture, traditional culture, and the site of Fukaya Communication Office. In addition, we will communicate their appeal and initiatives in cooperation with many people involved in Izumi Ward.

Let's get up! Regional power

We will support the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and local action groups so that sustainable local activities can be carried out, and encourage the participation of various generations in order to eliminate the shortage of workers and fixed workers. In addition, we will promote the creation of liveliness of shopping streets and enlightenment on decarbonization with local residents.

Let's keep it! Safety and security of living

We will provide publicity and enlightenment to foster awareness of "self support" and "community support" regarding disaster prevention, and support the development of the next generation of leaders, and work with related organizations to strengthen the disaster prevention system in the city. In addition, we will actively work on anti-crime program and infectious diseases, and promote the development of towns where people can live safely and with peace of mind.

We will promote Izumi Waku Waku Plan and the Izumi Ward Action Plan to create a town where everyone can live with peace of mind through the support of the local community. In addition, we will promote initiatives such as continuous enhancement of support from pregnancy to child care, and support for social participation of children with disabilities and persons in society.
