Izumi Waku Waku Plan Promotion Event [finished]
February is "Izumi Waku Waku Plan Promotion Month".
We hold inhabitant of a ward hall event so that many people can know about Izumi Waku Waku Plan (the fourth Izumi Ward community-based welfare health plan).
We will set up panels in the ward office elevator for one month with February as the promotion month, and increase opportunities for more people to know about the Izumi Waku Waku Plan.

We introduced the activities and initiatives of 12 districts and related organizations.
Results of the questionnaire
Here is a part of the survey.
・It was a very good event. I also understood the activities of each group in the city.
・I saw you for the first time. It was good to know that the people in each area are active. Thank you very much.
・All are important information activities, such as disaster prevention and health and community development, so I think it would be good that such projects will be carried out frequently over a long period of time.
・I felt that it would be nice if more people could participate in an event like this.
Izumi Waku Waku Cheering Corps [model implementation in Nakagawa, Ryokuen and Shimoizumi areas]
Izumi Ward is considering creating a system for 5th grade to 3rd grade junior high school students so that children can easily and continuously participate in local activities that require assistance. From August, models will be implemented in three districts: Nakagawa, Ryokuen and Shimoizumi.
What is Izumi exciting cheering squad?
If you help with local activities registered with the Izumi Waku Waku Cheering Corps, you will get a membership card, activity record card, and bandana. In addition, if you help and collect point stickers, you can get a gift!

- Staff for preparation and reception of festivals, etc.
- Cleanup activities for parks and other facilities
- Helping to hold child care salons
- Street Funds such as Red Feather Community Funds

Activities, application method, etc.
Requests to Parents
- If elementary school students are participating, please apply from parents.
- If your child is absent due to poor physical condition, please contact the activity group in advance.
- Insurance may be applied to injuries and accidents during activities. Please note that the ward office may contact you due to the procedure.
- Depending on the activity, parents may be required to pick up.
- The "Izumi Waku Cheering Corps" aims to encourage children to be interested in familiar local activities, so please speak to your children.
- Please participate in activities that can be participated by parents and children. (However, insurance applies only to the elementary school student that is eligible for Izumi Waku Waku Cheering Corps.)
