The emblem selected in the “Community Welfare and Health Plan Kawayanagi / Symbol Mark Contest for Everyone” was commissioned by animation director Yuichi Ito to finish the design, and this time was completed.

• From September 2010 to the end of October 2010, Kawayanagi and symbols were recruited from residents, working or studying in Izumi Ward.
• There were 149 entries for Kawayanagi and 56 emblems.
• The first screening was conducted by a member of the Izumi Ward Community Welfare and Health Promotion Council, which is composed of residents in the city and related organizations such as welfare, health and medical care, and selected three grand prize candidates.
• From December 1, 2010 to December 24, 2010, we carried out inhabitant of a ward vote (number of votes 431) for each of these grand prize candidates, and selected grand prize works for each category.
• The grand prize works were presented at the 2nd Izumi Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan Promotion Symposium at the 24th Izumi Ward Social Welfare Conference held on March 1, 2011, and Director General handed out commendation certificates to each grand prize winner.
• We asked the animation director Yuichi Ito to finish the design for the symbol of the grand prize work.

★The 26th Izumi Ward Social Welfare Convention

The 25th Izumi Ward Social Welfare Convention was held in Izumi public hall on Thursday, March 1, 2012. After the award ceremony in Part 1, the 2nd Izumi Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan Promotion Event was held in Part 2 (approximately 500 visitors).

[Activities Announcement] The Shimbashi District Community Welfare and Health Plan Promotion Committee and the Izumi Ward Health Activity Promotion Committee announced their daily activities.

From the afternoon of February 27, 2012 to the morning of February 29, 2012, at the Kumin Hall on the 1st floor of the Izumi Ward Office, in addition to panel exhibitions by 12 districts in the ward and related organizations, five different zones were divided by age, and Izumi Sports Center staff conducted blood vessel age measurement and advice.
