Activities in FY2017

Support and helping each other can be used! Town Izumi-The 3rd Izumi Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan-
I would like to introduce our activities in FY2017.

In the following districts, we have created an action plan that sets specific action goals that the district will work on over the year.

※Districts other than the above are active based on the district-specific plan of the Third Community Welfare and Health Plan.

Izumi Ward promotes community-based welfare and health, formulates plans, and exchanges information on businesses related to welfare, health and medical care.

We held inhabitant of a ward hall event and activity presentation so that many people could know about the third Izumi Ward community-based welfare health plan.

This year, under the theme of "Recommendation of Local Activities-First Step-", we introduced local activities and initiatives of related organizations and organizations at panel displays and free hands-on corners. Approximately 270 people participated in the three days.

Oh State of the day

Oh I will introduce some of them from the questionnaire.

• I found a little bit of local activities that I didn't care much about.
• I wish I could be involved in something little by little.
• I myself have become an elderly person, so let's volunteer as I can move a little.
• I was once again impressed that everyone was doing their best in the local activities.
• I learned that there are activities in various regions. I wish I could participate.

The theme was "How to walk slowly in a life that is not good to do a grass." On the day of the event, about 80 people participated.

A group that has created loose connections in the community for more than 10 years talked about tips to find out what can be done in the place where they live and the fun of doing activities.

Part 2 Shiono Sawaoka Lecture

Mr. Shiono Sawaoka
Senior Researcher, Diamond Aging Society Research Foundation
His specialty is geriatric sociology. I am engaged in research on the theme of human relationships, social activities, and the way local communities should be in order to keep myself alive in a longevity society until the end.

From the perspective of whereabouts study, he talked about his willingness to connect with the local community from his 50s and 60s and to have his own place. .
