The 2nd Izumi Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan Promotion Event

The promotion event, which was a great success, all gathered and rediscovered the local connection!

The event was hosted by the Izumi Ward Community Welfare and Health Promotion Council for four days from February 25 to February 28, when cold days continued.
We had you rediscover "local connection" while fully enjoying panel display, stage presentation, experience corner, etc.
In addition to appealing the community welfare and health plan to many people, a new connection between the participating organizations was born, such as receiving requests from other participating districts in the district where the skit was announced. .
In addition, as the first attempt, we held a briefing session on promotion events. The content is the planning meeting itself. With many ideas such as the title and content of the event, and publicity ideas, I was able to create the event. Thank you very much to everyone who participated. In the next fiscal year, we would like to have many promotion councils participate from the planning stage and create them. Thank you very much.

The whole view of the venue

Rediscover the image of living for children with disabilities!

On February 28, a keynote speech and symposium was held as Part 2 of the Social Welfare Convention.

Everyone who came to the event was impressed by the story of daily life, which is a real experience.

In the keynote speech, Dr. Michie Hiura, the director of the visiting house, talked about the importance of "people become people among people", living and connecting in the community. .

At the symposium, families of people with disabilities and people with disabilities living in Izumi Ward said, "I feel that I live in the community and feel encouraging to be warmly watched by my neighbors," "It is necessary for everyone to connect with the community." "I became disabled due to illness in my 50s, but I go out for a walk and greet them with the children."

In the questionnaire, more than 90% of people commented that it was "good." Thank you very much.

Dr. Hiura's lecture

From your questionnaire, we aim to be a town where the elderly can live forever!

At the promotion event, we conducted a questionnaire. Of the 200 distributions, 181 were able to collect. Thank you very much for your cooperation.

In this questionnaire, we were able to hear opinions that would be helpful in future initiatives, such as what we want in the future area and what we are currently worried about.

[Question] What do you want your area to be enhanced in the future?

[Answer] "A town where the elderly can live with peace of mind" is the highest at 42%. 73% of those who answered the questionnaire were over 60 years old, but we found that the elderly were more interested in the efforts of the elderly.

At the Izumi Ward Community Welfare and Health Promotion Council, we exchanged opinions on the elderly field at the second meeting in 2013. In this context, we have confirmed that "participating in the community" is an important factor.

Thank you for your many ideas!

In this promotion event, we also recruited ideas for "a town where the elderly can live energetically forever." Here's an example.

・First of all, let's go to the area. Create a circle that makes the most of your hobbies.

・Create a system that publicizes the specific contents of volunteer activities and allows anyone to act immediately at any time.

・Opportunities for children and the elderly to play together

・Continue working in a familiar place

・We grow and sell vegetables together

・Walking around the town (Let's watch local children)

・Grandma's Wisdom Lecture

・Creating a place where everyone can interact

Thank you very much for your attention.

I think that various approaches are being taken mainly by the residents in the area. For the activities that are being carried out now, we will use the viewpoints of "a town where the elderly can live forever" (social participation, social contribution, employment, purpose of life, health promotion) and the ideas introduced in the activities to be started in the future. I hope you can.
